Over the years, Peace Corps fielded programs in a variety of
professional areas in Venezuela. These ranged from University Education to
Rural Education to Rural Health.
The most Volunteers in country at one time was around 600 in
the late 1960s.
Peace Corps left Venezuela in 1974.
